The tutor itself, running on your phone. Not a chat window pointed at a server — the whole model sits in your storage and answers with the aeroplane mode on. No account, no signal, no per-answer cost to anyone.

Install the app first (about 90 MB), then pick a model inside it and download it once (about 1.8 GB, over Wi-Fi). After that it works forever, offline.

• · Updates happen inside the app. Open Models & updates — a new app build or a better model appears there. You never download this APK twice.
• · Needs Android 9 or newer and about 3 GB of free RAM while answering. Fastest on a 64-bit phone, which is nearly all of them since 2017.
• · Allow "install from this source" when your phone asks — it's our signed build.
• · It is a 3-billion-parameter model: it explains well and can still be wrong on exact facts. Check specifics.
• · Under-18? Astra Offline is adults-only for now, the same as the rest of the product, while we build a compliant experience.
